I can still picture them...with great fondness. Two of my kids are teachers...at total opposite ends of the spectrum. One is a history professor and one teaches first/second grade special education. I was one of those weird kids who liked to learn and I still do. <BR/><BR/>Somehow I don't think most teachers today affect children the way ours did us. My son is an exception. His swimming coach told him his freshman year, "You're a very good swimmer and if you'll listen to me, I can make you great!" And he did.
