ABBA sings Happy New Year
THE TENORS -- Auld Lang Syne from "Christmas Together" album "... shot on location in Newfoundland and Labrador with generous support of Parks Canada".
Happy New Year! Stay on top of it all, always!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR'S!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you! As much as I enjoy ABBA, I've never heard that song -- very nice.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, and I hope it brings peace and stability to your home and life.
ReplyDeleteDear Joared, thank you for sharing these two videos. The one from Newfoundland was so evocative. Now, I'd just like to see that country. So beautiful Peace and Happy 2023 from Dee Ready and the cats.
ReplyDeleteThank you for these beautiful videos, Joared. Here's wishing you a very Happy New Year that is full of health and good times.
ReplyDeleteI feel tenors get an unfair share of the pie-crust. I am pondering a group called The Three Baritones from which you may infer my vocal slant.
ReplyDeleteThe Abba song seems a bit of a mixture of gloomy thoughts and more positive ones! Anyway, a happy and exciting New Year to you. May the year be a lot better than 2022!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the good wishes and the videos. I hope this coming year of the Rabbit will be a very good one for you. All my best wishes.
ReplyDeleteI just realized that my prior comment might have come under “anonymous” as I did not know there was a choice in the comment box. Vagabonde
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. Hoping to see a post here again. I wasn't reading blogs for awhile and missed this post. Wishing all the best for you and your loved ones, Joared.
ReplyDeleteSeeing no entries from you for a long time, I hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your concern. My "catching up" is taking much longer than I anticipated due to a variety of issues including my initial miscalculation. A number of matters are resolving at a much slower pace than I expected such as what all and the rate at which I can do some things independently. Aging with body wear through the years has slowed me considerably more than I realized. Has taken longer obtaining the help I've needed with some rightsizing once I concluded I needed such assistance. I'll likely resume writing here eventually, but not sure when that will be.
DeleteI really relate to that. I turn 80 this year and it's already surprised me when I can't do what I once could. I hope you feel stronger soon as I do miss your posts, but understand as I've had a harder time writing mine also these days.

ReplyDeleteDear Joared, so hope your days are leveling off in every way. At 87, I'm finding that recuperating from anything--illness, a visit with friends, writing, doctor appointments, shopping on line--just anything takes much more energy than I think it will. So I rest a lot and feel gratitude that I'm still here to enjoy the seasons and the friends who have chosen me as a friend during my lifetime.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. And go slowly into every adventure and possibility life now offers.
Peace from Dee and the cats.
Perhaps 2024 will be the year? Hugs
ReplyDeleteSorta!
