All the best to you in the New Year, Joared. O my goodness. Rod Stewart singing "Auld Lang Syne" moved me to tears and lifted my spirits at the same time. Since I was a child, the sound of bagpipes has always touched me deeply. It's certainly in my DNA from my mother's side and maybe a little bit from my father's side.
Bagpipes have been favorites of mine, too, for reasons I'm not really sure about, so when I heard them on this video I knew I'd want to feature Rod Stewart's performance.
A happy new year to you too. And as you say, may voting rights be preserved and not cynically taken away. Oh, and may covid finally be under control after a horrendous couple of years.
